“EVERYBODY LOVES A PARADE!” Well we are hoping this is true. As you know by now the big NOONAN CENTENNIAL is on JUNE 30th 2007. And it just wouldn’t be complete without a good “ole fashion” parade. We would love to have young, old, kids, families, classes, clubs, businesses, groups, organizations, ect. Anyone or anything (within reason) to be part of the big parade down Main Street NOONAN. All you have to do is decide what great float, car, wagon, horse, cat, dog, or even goat(ha,ha) you want to enter. The list is possibly endless! So go ahead and fill out the entry form, call, write, or even e-mail any of the parade committee members. Mary Jo Anderson 701-925-5728 dmkids@nccray.com Michelle Eide 701-925-5772 loveknott@yahoo.com Cindi Fagerbakke 701-925-5672 Lester Preibe 701-925-5737 Betty Dhuyvetter 701-939-6548
There have already been some really good ideas, so come join the parade. Put on your thinking caps on, or get together with others. And we will surely see why “Everybody Loves A Parade”.
Looking forward to hearing from all of you. GOOD LUCK!!! Mary Jo Anderson Parade Chairman

We'd love to take in both celebrations, but no way can we do both on separate weekends. Who can, except for locals? Also, where are people from out of state finding places to stay? We have no relatives left in the area and I know the motel situation isn't good. Any ideas? We don't want to have to stay in Williston, it's too far away. Thanks for any input on this!

Deer hunting opens in 1 hour. The weather looks good the bucks are chasing the does the foot of snow is gone and the trails are drying up. This looks to be a good season there are lots of deer in the area.

I went out driving around on the afternoon of Friday Nov. 3rd and seen over 200 pheasents all in large groups due to the snow cover. Most of the snow melted over the weekend so I am sure birds are spread out again. The trails are really sloppy and muddy hasn't been cold enough to freeze the ground after the snow melted. Deer season opens this Friday at noon and should be good for both the deer hunter and the pheasent hunter with the temperature to remain above normal for rest of the week.

The upland bird hunting is the best it has been in Northwest North Dakota since the 90's. If you hunted this area then you know how many birds there was then and it is very good again. If we have a good winter and spring next years numbes should be outstanding. I will try to post some more messages here keep you up to date on the hunting in NW North Dakota

What a fantastic job done by the Schultz's and everyone involved in the event. Was so good to see everyone, just wish I could have been in more places to see those that I know I missed. I have no answer and can provide minimal help but I hope these celebrations don't die, it certainly brings back so many great memories and faces not seen for to many years. Thanks again Ron Smithberg
